光开关技术进展
Recent Progress in Optical Switching
【摘要】 随着密集波分复用技术的应用以及光联网的提出 ,光开关技术已经成为未来光联网的关键技术之一。光开关广泛应用于交叉连接设备、保护倒换、分插复用器等各种设备中。综述了目前已经实用或正在研究的光开关及阵列的各种制作技术 ,包括微光电子机械技术、液晶技术、全息光栅技术以及气泡技术、热光技术及声光技术等 ,详细分析了各种技术相应的发展状况、技术特点和应用范围 ,并分析了其发展的趋势。
【Abstract】 With the application of dense wavelength division multiplexing and the advance in optical transport network, optical switching has become one of the key techniques for the future. Optical switches can be applied in optical cross connects and optical add/drop multiplexing, etc. In this paper, many kinds of manufacture technologies are presented, including micro-opto-electro-mechanical-system, liquid crystals, holograms, liquid gratings, bubbles, and acousto-optics. Different applications and recent progress of various switching technologies are discussed.
