【Abstract】 In this paper, the application and characteristics of thoriated tunsgten cathode materials have been reviewed. The factors influencing the service property of thoriated tungsten cathode materials and the action mechanism of ThO 2 in cathode have been discussed. The major problems on the research and development of thoriated tungsten cathode materials are presented. Some newly developed W-ThO 2 cathode msterials have been introduced. The further researching direction of thoriated tungsten cathode materals is pointed out.更多还原
