【Abstract】 After sorting out Mesozoic geological events in the lower Yangtze area the authors suggested that there existed two relatively independent orogenic movements in the Dabieshan and lower Yangtze areas during the Indosinian and Yenshanian periods, especially the Yenshanian large-scaled lithospheric thinning process in the lower Yangtze area and the relevant mineralization.
