【Abstract】 To release hospital pharmacists from the performance of technical tasks and impel them to pursuit patient-care services, the duty between pharmacist and nonprofessional hospital pharmacy personnel was clearly differentiated in hospital pharmacies of US. As an important component of nonprofessional pharmacy personnel, pharmacy technician undertakes some crucial duties. Such duties included: setting up, packaging, and labeling medication doses; maintaining patient records; maintaning inventories of drug supplies, etc. To ensure the competencies of pharmacy technician to meet the need of routine work, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists(ASHP) established a strict training standard involving training site, training program, qualifications of the applicants, training forms, and training objectives.更多还原
