【Abstract】 Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease are generally considered as separate and distinct disorders.However ,a considerable amount of studies demonstrate that these disorders share the common clinical and neuropathological features and similar etiology and pathogenesis.Therefore,they are now considered by some researchers as different phenotypes of an identical neurodegenerative disorder.In this article,a brief introduction on this viewpoint is given.
