稀土偶联剂(REC)对PP/Mg(OH)2体系性能的影响

【摘要】 研究了稀土偶联剂 (REC)处理对PP/氢氧化镁 (Mg(OH) 2 )体系的燃烧性能、流动性能、力学性能及老化性能的影响。未经处理的Mg(OH) 2 在填充量超过 5 0 %时 ,PP/Mg(OH) 2 体系的OI≥ 2 8.5 ,但这时冲击强度不足纯PP的 30 % ,熔体流动速率低于 0 .6g/1 0min ;而填料用 2 .5 % (重量 )REC处理后 ,填充量为 5 0 %的体系冲击强度接近纯PP ,MFR达 2 .8g/1 0min ;REC对Mg(OH) 2 有明显改性作用。Mg(OH) 2 对体系光氧老化过程有加速作用 ,而对热氧老化过程有阻滞作用 ;稀土偶联剂对体系光氧老化过程有轻微的促进作用 ,而对热氧老化过程无明显影响

【Abstract】 Influences of a rare earth complex (REC) as a coupling agent of Mg(OH) 2 on the flame retardance, flowability, mechanical properties and anti ageing performance of PP/Mg(OH) 2 were investigated. When the dosage of untreated Mg(OH) 2 was over 50% (mass content),the oxygen index of the system was more than 28.5, impact strength was 30% that of pure PP and melt flow rate was 0.6g/10min. Once Mg(OH) 2 was treated with rare earth coupling agent, PP/Mg(OH) 2 had almost the same impact strength as pure PP and melt flow rate 2.8 g/10min. Mg(OH) 2 can accelarate the photo oxidation and retard the thermal oxidation of PP. REC has a slight promoting action on the photo oxidation and has no obvious influence on the thermal oxidation,but has excellent modification effect on the surface of Mg(OH) 2.
