高温氧指数测定在聚合物阻燃性能研究中的应用
Application of HT LOI Method in Study of Flame Retardant Behavior of Polymers
【摘要】 首次利用高温氧指数方法并结合锥形量热仪 (CONE)研究了PE及两种不同VA含量的EVA共聚物及其阻燃体系的常温氧指数 (LOI值 )随温度的变化规律。从一个新的角度探索了VA含量对EVA共聚物阻燃性能的影响。结果表明 :当VA含量增大到一定程度时 ,EVA共聚物或其阻燃体系的实际阻燃能力可能会反而下降 ;高温氧指数对材料阻燃能力的评价更切实际
【Abstract】 Temperature dependence of polyethylene,EVA,and systems thereof with additives,such as ATH and IFR is studied by oxygen index at elevated temperature (LOI T) and CONE calorimetry.Influence of the content of VA in EVA on the flame retardance of EVA is probed.Results show that the actual flame retardance of EVA copoly mer or its flame retardant system may decrease. LOI T is a practical method for evaluating the flame retardance of polymers.
