【Abstract】 The biosynthesis of collagen involves a series complex processes, including the transcription of collagen gene, the translation of mRNA to protein of collagen, the pastprocess, secretion as well as the aggrega- tion, etc. This article briefly presents the biosynthetic process of collagen, the enzymes required during the biosynthesis, the architecture, aggregation state and the regulation of synthesis of collagen. The 18 distinct collagen types, composed of at least 32 individual genetically sequence feather, have also been de scribed here and tells the distribution of the collagens in animal tissues.更多还原
