一种基于垂直字符边界特征的车牌定位方法
A method of number-plate locating based on the vertical edge characteristics of characters
【摘要】 提出了一种基于垂直字符边界点特征的车牌定位方法 ,该方法能有效定位车牌 ,定位精度高达 98% ,定位时间不超过 2 s,并能有效地克服光线和天气条件等影响
【Abstract】 This paper presents a method of number plate locating based on the vertical edge characteristics of characters.It can effectively locate number plate,the correct rate is 98%,the time is 2 seconds,and it can effectively avoid the influences of the light and weather condition in real world system.
