【Abstract】 By comparing the product restraint quantity with the ratio restraint quantity which used in the criterion of the differential protection, some new conceptions and schemes are proposed in this paper: (1)Identity of the product restraint criterion and the ratio restraint criterion.(2)Extending the conception of product restraint for getting differential protection with characteristic of non linear restraint.
