【Abstract】 A new method for analysis of exterior sound radiation problem is developed by means of synthesizing radiation modes and structural modes. The physical characteristics and mathematical meaning of the radiation modes are presented. The main advantage of this approach is the elimination of the structural modes coupling terms which are usually very complex. Through the Rayleigh integral, the radiation efficiency of a simply supported rectangular panel is calculated under different frequencies. The difference of radiation efficiency between under structural modes and radiation modes is described in detail.更多还原
