【Abstract】 There are two important issues in the study of history of higher education. They are relations between history and theory and between history and reality. This paper explores theoretically how to look upon and deal with them. The paper holds that the study is restricted because the two issues are ambiguously understood and not properly handled. The paper also emphasizes that it is necessary to treat the two issues dialectically and objectively in order to push the present studies forward.更多还原
