【Abstract】 Objective In order to search for the suitable animal model intraocular lens were implanted into rhesus monkeys’eyes.Methods 15 monkeys (30 eyes) were operated with extracapsular cataract extraction with implantation of a posterior chamber intraocular lens.Results The operation on rhesus monkeys’ eyes was about the same as that on human beings’eyes.Conclusion Rhesus monkey is the most perfect animal model in ophthalmology.更多还原
