【Abstract】 This paper describes a tortuous process that the titanium industry in China experienced from rising, developing to becoming ripe in a period of about 40 years and gives review on resource characteristics, production technology, application field, research and development as well as operation and management, etc. Then the author gives prospects for future development of China’s titanium industry by personal experience.
