【Abstract】 The polymer of maleic acid(PMA) was first prepared by water phase polymerization with maleic anhy_dride, and then esterified with citric acid(CA) to form PMA/ CA durable press finishing agent. The effect of pH of the finishing liquid, curing temperature, dosage of the agent and amount of catalysts on the effectiveness of finishing were discussed. Research indicates that PMA is a novel non-formaldehyde durable press finishing agent worthy of reseach and development.更多还原
