【Abstract】 Pinus armandii is a main afforestation tree species in Dongchuan District.Since the beginning of the Yangtze River Shelter forest Project,more than 2 000 hm 2 of the pine have been afforested.In recent years,the pine was seriously harmed by the pine woolly aphid Pineus armandicola Zhang.In order to control the insect pest effectively,a study on the dynamics and control of the pine woolly aphid is conducted on No. 222 Forest Farm from 1996 to 1999.Data of six life tables of the aphid were obtained in the field.The key factors which control the population of the virginogeniae of the aphid were found out.The optimum time to eliminate the aphid was determined.更多还原
