【Abstract】 n alkoxybiphenyl 4′ carbonyloxy) benzoic acid is the intermediate of many ferroelectric liquid crystals and antiferroelectric liquid crystals. A series of liquid crystal intermediates were synthesized from 4 phenylphenol via methylation, acylation, haloform reaction, demethlation, alkylation condensation and reduction.The structures of the compounds are characterized by IR, 1H NMR and MS.更多还原
