【Abstract】 Analyzing and exploring the course, cause, basis and aim of Cartesian skepticism, this paper holds that Decartes, who saw “evidence and distinction” as the primary principle of receiving knowledge and truth, revealed the basic characters of human thought. In the era of expanding knowledge and information, a person, with the limited brain potentiality, needs not deliberately follow the process of increasing knowledge. One can, on the basis of grasping fundamental knowledge and with the courage of skepticism, clear up all prejudices, doubts and disturbing information from the outside, and make his thought in an evident state——which might be more conducive to inspiring his wisdom.更多还原
