【Abstract】 Begin with the management decision problems faced by a modern enterprise, we discuss the role of CIMS and OR techniques in solving the management decision problems and the shortcomings confronted with them. The integration of CIMS and OR techniques is an effective way of establishing production management decision support systems under the traditional CIMS environment and improving the overall efficiency of the enterprises. We introduce the concepts of computer integrated manufacturing (CIM), computer integrated enterprise (CIE), enterprise integrated model (EIM) and integrated decision support system (IDSS), explain the relations of them, discuss the implementation environment of IDSS, and propose a framework of a decision support system for enterprise management under CIMS environment.更多还原
