1种对植物病原菌有机酸毒素具生物活性的菌株
A BACTERIUM POSSESSING BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY AGAINST TOXINS IN ORGANIC ACIDS PRODUCED BY PHYTOPATHGENS
【摘要】 研究发现一种细菌 (编号为W 1 )对草酸、苯乙酸、a 甲基巴豆酸和水稻白叶枯病菌毒素具有生物活性。W 1能消除或减轻有机酸毒素引起烟草的坏死 ,解除有机酸毒素对水稻出苗的抑制 ,明显减轻水稻白叶枯病的病斑长度。这种生物活性属于解毒活性。对W 1的活性成份进行初步研究发现 ,W 1具有的广谱解毒活性。
【Abstract】 A number of phytopathogens can produce organic acids which play an important role in plant pathogenesis as toxins. In the research reported here a bacterium, designated W-1, was discovered, which showed biological activity against oxalic acid, phenylacetic acid, tigilic acid and the toxin of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. zae , a phytopathogen responsible for rice bacterial blight. W-1 was shown to have the capacity of preventing or alleviating necrosis in tobacco caused by organic acids, removing the inhibition to rice seedling growth caused by organic acids and reducing the length of the lesions induced by X. orayzae. Such activity falls into the category of detoxification activity. An initial study has been made of the active substances in W-1 and its general biological properties. Owing to its broad-spectrum detoxificative activity, W-1 has a highly promising prospect of application in biological control of plant diseases.
