西天山两侧前陆盆地晚新生代沉积特征及构造意义

【摘要】 天山两侧前陆盆地晚新生代地层发育,沉积厚度较大。盆地沉积序列的韵律性反映了天山造 山带的构造演化历史。晚新生代沉积特征及抱粉组合表明,中新世—上新世—早更新世碎屑岩不稳 定组分明显增加,阔叶植物花粉含量减少、耐干喜旱的篙、藜等显著增加,反映天山活动性增强,上新 世晚期天山强烈隆升,天山两侧前陆盆地上新世晚期开始出现磨拉石建造,由于山体隆升造成的大 气环流改变,天山两侧盆地封闭性增强,大陆性气候明显,气候发生较显著变化。

【Abstract】 Late Cenozoic sediments of great thickness are well developed at foreland basins on both sides of the Tianshan range. The rhythmic sedimentary sequences within these basins reflect the tectonic evolutionary history of Tianshan orogen. The sedimentary feature and sporopollen assemblage demonstrate that the elastics of Miocene -Pliocene -early Pleistocene have clearly increasing amount of unstable components and arid artemisia, lamb’s -quarters, but less amount of sporopollens of broadieaf plants, indicating a higher activity of the Tianshan range. The rapid uplift of the Tianshan orogen during the late Pliocene led to the occurence of mollase deposits on foreland basins along both sides of the Tianshan mountains. The change of atmospheric circulation due to the oxogenic uplift caused a higher isolation of the basins on both sides of the range. A clear continental climate was so formed, resulted to an obvious climatic change.
