【Abstract】 This paper studied the history and the development of the Library Information System, pointed out that the new generation LIS software will play an important role in library and information center . Component-based application development method is supported by software reuse and component technology, it can reuse existed application system , framework also can used to construct new applications. This increases software productivity,quality,maintenance,interoperability ,scalability and software evolution .
