【Abstract】 Being one of the underdeveloped areas in China,the Northwest really paid too much in resources,environment and ecology while pursuing its economic development.As a result,a series of problems occurred,such as over population,poverty and conflicts between cities and countrysides.Thinking over the past painful experience,we have come to the conclusion that the sustainable development is the only way to develop the economy in the Northwest.Although there are many difficulties,a vast range of prospects for this choice has been opened by the establishment of the socialist political system,especially the system of socialist market economy.The quite large scale of the Northwestern national economic system provides the choice with a fairly solid material foundation.更多还原
