【Abstract】 In the course of development of the human society,people living in the same(or similar)conditions invariably have their social ideologies,moral concepts and aesthetical ideals comparatively approximate to each others,(even if they are in different countries or of different ethnic groups).To illustrate,we will only make a comparison between the Chinese novels and the Western novels written in the embryonic period of capitalism,and this comparison will reveal striking similarities in areas of their subject matters,characters,plots,and themes.In love stories contained in The Decameron ,“ San Yan ”and“ Er Pai ”,attempts have been made at highly eulogizing love between man and woman,at boldly describing human sexual love,at criticizing the ideas of feudal order and degree and unreasonable institution of marriage,and at exposing absurdity of asceticism of religion and rationalistic Confucian philosophy,thus all of these reflecting the awareness of humanity,the vigorous growth democratic ideas,and the ideal of a new life,Meanwhile,these depictions demonstrate that literary works are closely related with economy,politics,and philosophy,etc.in a specific age,an embodiment of singing different tunes with equal skill.更多还原
