声速剖面的分层经验正交函数表示
On Expression of Ocean Sound Profile by Layered Empirical Orthogonal Function (EOF)
【摘要】 利用不同深度声速剖面的变化特性 ,提出了经验正交函数的分层表示方法 ,利用实测的数据进行了验证。结果表明 ,经验正交函数的分层表示方法是可行的。
【Abstract】 Ocean acoustics tomography is an emerging field of research in recent years, and inversion of sound speed profile (SSP) is an important part of it. Traditional EOF method for expressing complex SSP encountered in shallow water ocean environment needs many parameters, resulting in big computational overhead. We present an improved method—layered EOF to solve this problem. The improved method takes into account both the complexity of shallow water and the smoothness of deep water, with the emphasis on the upper layer of the water column because of its complexity and steep variation. In this way, more accurate approximation of shallow water SSP is achieved. Our improved method has met with preliminary success when applied to the processing of real test data as shown in Figs.2 and 3.
