基于特征和知识库的CAM系统设计
A Method for Designing CAM System Based on Features and Knowledge Base
【摘要】 智能化是 CAD/CAM系统的一个重要发展方向。本文以特征设计和制造为基础 ,把专家系统的有关知识合理地运用到计算机辅助制造中。提出了基于制造特征和制造技术知识库的 CAM系统框架 ,主要研究了制造特征的定义和分类 ,制造技术和知识库的设计和知识表达 ,并在已有的CAD/CAM系统中实现和应用 ,极大地提高了数控代码的生成效率和质量。
【Abstract】 Aiming at improving the efficiency of generating numerical code and its quality, we present a method for designing CAM system based on features and knowledge base. In section 1, we give the schematical diagram for the CAM system based on features and knowledge base as shown in Fig.1. In section 2, we divide the manufacturing features into 3 classes as shown in Fig.2: (1) general features with 13 sub features, (2) shape features with 13 sub features, (3) surface features with 2 sub features. In section 3, we discussed the designing of 4 kinds of manufacturing knowledge base: (1) knowledge base for tools, (2) knowledge base for manufacturing parameters, (3) knowledge base for thread, (4) knowledge base for manufacturing features and operations. We have built a prototype of such a system. Trial operations show that such a system can greatly improve manufacturing efficiency.
