【Abstract】 Real wind tunnel tests are very time consuming and expensive. We initiated the research in numerical wind tunnel in China. In this paper, we present a numerical wind tunnel software system for sub sonic, trans sonic and super sonic flow. Fig.2 gives the schematic diagram of this system. Its four main subsystems are: (1) pre processor, (2) flow solver, (3) data visualization, and (4) aerodynamics and geometry database. A prototype of numerical wind tunnel has been implemented on a network environment. Many advanced and sophisticated computational dynamic codes are integrated in this system, including panel method codes, potential flow codes, and the codes for Euler and Navier Stokes equation. Simulation results (Figs.4 through 8) are given in section 5. Fig.4 shows that simulation result(solid curve) is in good agreement with experimental data (dotted curve).更多还原
