【Abstract】 The current definition and classification of population migration and floating population are not used consistently, and some research even makes opposite conclusions simply due to different definition of floating population. Based on the analysis of previous classification of migrating population, a new classification of migrating population is put forward in the context of China’s household registration system (Hukou). The meaning and application of the classification are explained in detail. The classification given here can be used as a basis for determining the object of research.更多还原
