【Abstract】 Recent years have seen rapid development in the field of discourse analysis and text linguistics. Interest in the macrostructure and communicative purpose of a text has led to a growing attention to the study of genre. This paper presents a brief introduction of the basic ideas of systemic linguistics, and explores the relation between genre analysis and system network.
