【Abstract】 Overseas Chinese from Jiangmen-Wuyi area have a long history of running Chinese newspapers abroad and many of them have made prominent achievements. The development of Chinese press abroad in modern times can be divided into two periods: the beginning period in the mid-1850s and the rapid growing period from the mid 1890s to the late 1940s. During these two periods, overseas Chinese from Wuyi area made contributions to the creation and development of overseas Chinese press and, what is more, they offered indelible service to Chinas Xinghai Revolution and Anti-Japanese War.更多还原
