p16基因表达与胃癌组织类型的关系

【摘要】 探讨P16基因的表达与人胃癌组织类型的关系。方法:选取24例病理确诊的胃癌组织及相应正常胃粘膜组织,用蛋白质免疫印迹(Westernblot)做术检测p16基因在两种组织中的表达。结果:24例胃癌组织中,6例无p16基因表达的癌组织为低分化腺癌或印戒细胞癌;2例p16基因表达可疑;分化较高的5例p16基因表达增多;其余11例p16基因的表达同相应正常组织无区别。结论:p16基因在胃癌组织中的表达既可减低,也可增加,相当一部分胃癌组织p16基因的表达同相应正常组织无明显区别;p16基因表达减低的病例,其病理学诊断往往属于恶性程度较高的低分化腺癌或印戒细胞癌,可能与患者的预后有一定关系。

【Abstract】 Background/Aims: To study the relationship between the expression of p16 gene and the phenotypes of human gastric carcinomas. Methods: 24 human gastric carcinoma specimens and the adjacent normal gastric mucosal tissues were determined by molecular pathologic methods. The expression of p16 gene was studied by Western blot assay. Results: Deleted p16 gene expression was found in 6 poorly-differentiated adenocarcinomas or signet ring cell carcinomas among the 24 human gastric carcinomas, in two, the p16 gene expression was suspicious, and in 5 well-differentiated carcinomas, it was over-expressed, while in the rest of 11 cases, there were no differences between cancer tissue and the normal gastric mucosal tissue. Conclusions: The expression of p16 gene in human gastric carcinomas may be either decreased or increased, and in many cases, the gastric carcinomatous tissue showed no difference as compared with the adjacent normal gastric mucosal tissue; the cases of decreased expression of p16 gene always belong to the poorly-differentiated ones or the signet ring cell carcinomas,which might be related to their poor prognosis.
