【Abstract】 With the rapid development of new sciences and technologies,especially computer technology,space technology and information technology, the mankind has entered into the information era. The construction of NII, the advancement of geo-spatial information sciene-Geomatics, and the concept of digital earth, have made available a solid foundation, a rare opportunity and a clear objective for the development of the discipline of photopammetry and remote sensing. Meanwhile, challenges to the subject area are also in existence. This paper presents a brief and succinct description of the status quo of photogrammetry and remote sensing, as well as some personal views about the development trends of the discipline.更多还原
