【Abstract】 The paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges of public libraries in the Age of knowledge economy, and draws a conclusion that the traditional functions should be intensified and developed in the new particular circumstance. Fi- nally this article puts forward four functions of public libraries in knowledge economy age-document presentation and knowl- edge dissemination, social education, information exploitage and service, and cultural entertainment.更多还原
