添加剂对粘结镍电极性能的影响

【摘要】 :用球形 Ni(OH) 2 做为镍电极的活性物质 ,讨论了电极中加入各种添加剂 (如 Co、Zn、Ba和 Ca等 )对涂膏式镍电极活性物质 Ni(OH) 2 利用率、快速放电能力、放电电位、电极膨胀率和氧析出电位等性能的影响 .电极中添加 Co O,Ni(OH) 2 利用率大大增加 ,电极快速放电能力增强 ,电极反应可逆性变好 .电极中添加 Zn O、Ca(OH) 2 和 Ba(OH) 2 能提高电极放电电位、氧析出与 Ni(OH) 2 氧化峰电位差值 (DOP) .电极中添加 Co O和一定量的 Zn O或 Ba(OH) 2 能够抑制过充电时γ- Ni OOH的生成 ,降低电极膨胀率

【Abstract】 A pasted nickel electrode using high density spherical nickel hydroxide powder as the main active material was prepared.The influences of various additives such as cobalt,zinc,barium and calcium on the electrode performances such as utilization of Ni(OH) 2,high rate discharge ability,discharge potential,swelling and potential of oxygen evolution were discussed.The addition of CoO is beneficial for increasing the utilization of Ni(OH) 2 and the reversibility between the oxidation and reduction states,as well as improvement of the high rate discharge ability.A higher discharge potential and the difference between the oxygen evolving potential and the oxidation peak potential (DOP) are obtained with the addition of ZnO,Ca(OH) 2 or Ba(OH) 2.Adding several percent of CoO and ZnO or Ba(OH) 2 in a pasted nickel electrode is effective for suppressing the formation of γ NiOOH by over charging,which causes the electrode swelling.
