【Abstract】 Octylglucoside was prepared by reaction of glucose with n-octanol,and the appropriate conditions for the reaction were determined by means of orthogonal experimental design. The optimal reaction conditions were: temperature 100-110℃, pressure 8.0-9.0 KPa and n-octanol-glucose mole ratio 3∶1. Also, the appropriate conditions for removal of excess n-octanol and bleaching of end product were determined. Moreover, some properties of octylglucoside, such as surface tension, cleaning test and biodegradation, were measured.更多还原
