基于分形分析的图象边缘检测
An edge detection algorithm based on the concept of fractal feature
【摘要】 应用分形的概念 ,给出了一个基于分数维布朗运动模型的图象边缘检测算法。该算法对图象中的每个象素 ,由计算以其为中心的一个 m× m象素块来得到其分数维值 ,并根据图象边缘具有某一特定范围的分数维值而将其检测出来。该边缘检测算法的最大优点是对噪声不敏感 ,因此可避免一般边缘检测算法放大噪声的缺点。应用其对核磁共振医学图象的边缘检测实验中得到了较好的效果
【Abstract】 An edge detection algorithm based on the concept of fractional Brownian motion is presented in this paper. The fractal dimension value of each pixel is obtained by calculating the fractal dimension of a m×m pixel block centered on this pixel. Since the fractal dimension near boundaries is low, the edges in the image are detected by selected pixels of a certain fractal dimension value. This algorithm has a main advantage that does not increase noise in the way that gradient operators do. In this way, the results using the medical imaging of nuclear magnetic resonance are better.
