【Abstract】 A TLC scanning method was developed for the content determination of protocatechuic acid and caffeic acid in a commonly used Chinese medicine Rhizoma Cibotii and its related species Rhizoma Pteris. The contents of protocatechuic acid and caffeic acid in all the samples of Rhizoma Cibotii collected from various areas were above 0 020% and 0 029% respectively, and the highest content was found in the processed products of Rhizoma Cibotii. However, the contents of caffeic acid in Rhizoma Pteris were very low. This method could be used for the quality control of the Chinese medicine Rhizoma Cibotii.更多还原
