【Abstract】 ve To introduce an operation for repairing fingertip defects. Methods The vascularity of the reverse dorsal digital island flap was augmented by performing an arteriovenous anastomosis between a dorsal vein in the flap and one of the proper digital arteries at the fingertip, ten flaps were used in ten patients for the reconstruction of their fingertip defects. Results All flaps were survived and the outline was good. Conclusion The method is easy except for the necessity of performing standard microvascular surgery. The flap may be a new operation for repairing fingertip defects.更多还原
