【Abstract】 The May 4th Movement and the founding of the People ’s Republic of China, the two links of historical significance and profound imp lication, divide the 20th-century Chinese history into three great phases and chapter s. The pre-May 4th Movement years compose the chapter of humiliation of the 20th century China, while those between the May 4th Movement and the founding of the People’s Republic of China produce the chapter of the emergence of it. Finally, the half century since the founding of the Republic marks the chapter of the re juvenation of the nation. Accordingly, four significant inspiration have been dr awn from a recall of the 20th-century Chinese history and a scientific summatio n of the historical experience since the founding of the Republic. Of utmost impo rtance are the ideological line, the constant deepening of the perception of soc ialism, the matter of the banner and the adherence to the Party’s leadership.更多还原
