【Abstract】 Whether or not the foreign genes can be stably expressed in transgenic plants has a profound effect on the application prospects of the transgenic plants. There are many factors influencing the stability of the expression of the foreign genes including genetic and environmental factors. In some transgenic plants, the expression of foreign genes is developmentally regulated. In this article, the facts that the gene silencing, environmental factors and developmental stages affect the stability of the expression of the foreign genes in transgenic plants are mainly discussed. Furthermore, the strategies for improving the stability of the expression of transgenic plants are put forward.更多还原
