【Abstract】 Based on Cell Loss Rate (CLR), the influence of selecting QOS parameter formulae on the utilization of ATM network resource is discussed in this paper Comparison shows the feasibility of achieving high utilization of network resource while satisfying user’s QOS requirements by selecting efficient formulae for QOS parameters. When using optimistic policy of resource allocation, a new idea of avoiding QOS degradation is suggested. Finally, future works about QOS and utilization of network resource are proposed.更多还原
