产品反向工程和快速原型制造的集成技术

【摘要】 基于在新产品研制和产品复制过程中 ,采用产品反向工程和快速原型制造的集成技术可以缩短产品研制开发的周期 ,提出了一种将两种先进制造技术集成的方案 .将反向工程数字化测量所得到的截面数据 ,通过简化处理产生一个数据量小而包含的信息又足以满足精度要求的切片数据文件 ,直接用于快速原型制造 ,从而避免了曲面重构和转换成 STL文件的中间过程 .并阐述了去除多余截面、精减点云数据和生成截面曲线等步骤的主要算法 .实例表明采用该方法是切实可行的 .

【Abstract】 Reverse engineering and rapid prototyping have been widely used as two separate advanced tech- niques.Little has been done for the integration of these two techniques.In order to enhance production’s performance and reduce the developmenttime,this paper proposed a novel procedure for the integration. The contour data are measured by laser scanning and are directly inputted to RP machine for manufactur- ing only through some simple processing.The method avoids the intermediate process of re- constructing surface model and generating STL files. Meanwhile,itdoes not need much skill in surface modeling and manufacturing.Main innovative algorithms thatdrastically contribute in reducing the productdevelopment time were also presented in detail.These methods will facilitate the use of reverse engineering geometric data for rapid prototyping.
