【摘要】 目的 :探讨改良 Herbst矫治器治疗睡眠呼吸暂停综合征 (SAS)的适应证及机制。方法 :对用多导睡眠仪 (PSG)确诊的 SAS1 2例用改良 Herbst矫治器治疗并分析患者的诊断模型测量和头影测量数值。结果 :用 Herbst矫治器后患者的呼吸暂停指数 (AI)或每小时阻塞发作次数显著减少 (P<0 .0 0 1 )。结论 :改良Herbst矫治器可用于诊断及治疗 SAS。对有小下颌趋势、下颌后缩及较短软腭的效果尤为显著。更多还原

【Abstract】 Objective:To explore the indications and mechanism of using modified Herbst appliance in treating sleep apnea syndromes(SAS).Method:Twelve patients with SAS were diagnosed by polysomnographic and treated with modified Herbst appliance.The diagnostic casts and lateral cephalometric radiographs were analyzed.Result:By using the modified Herbst appliance,the apnea index has been significantly reduced(P<0 001).Conclusion:Modified Herbst appliance is effective in treating SAS,especially to those with small mandibular,or mandibular retrognathia,or shortened soft palate.更多还原
