【Abstract】 The history of cattle breeding in Qujiang County is reviewed. In this paper the emphasis is placed on the fodder crop production instead of natural grazing in North Guangdong. Some suggestions are made for cattle development such as establishment of forage crop base and rational utilization of now available grass straw, as well as combination and coordination of agriculture with animal husbandry. Intercropping forage plants in fruit orchards is also recommended.更多还原
