GdCa4O(BO33∶Yb晶体沿倍频方向的生长和自倍频性质

【摘要】 本文首次报道了利用倍频方向的籽晶生长GdCa4 O(BO3) 3∶Yb(GdCOB∶Yb)晶体 ,通过控制温场及生长速度可以得到高光学质量的晶体。分析了晶体的生长习性及孪晶的形成。通过与b向生长的晶体相比较 ,认为以倍频方向生长的晶体加工器件时 ,可以极大地提高利用率 (从 50 %提高到 90 % )。测量了晶体的室温透过谱和荧光谱。利用 976nm的激光二极管及列阵二极管作为泵浦源 ,测量了晶体沿最佳倍频方向的激光输出及自倍频性质。

【Abstract】 GdCOB∶Yb crystals grown along the optimum phase matching(PM) direction is firstly reported in this paper.High optical quality crystal can be obtained by controlling the thermal field and the growth rate.The growth habits of GdCOB∶Yb crystal and twins forming were analyzed.The utilization ratio of the as grown crystals along the optimum PM direction were improved(from 50% to 90%)when the optical devices were processed,compared to that of the crystals grown along b axis.The transmittance spectra and fluorescent spectra were measured at room temperature using HITARCHI U 3500 spectrophotometer.The laser output and self frequency doubling(SFD) output were measured using 976nm LD pump source on the crystal sample along the optimum PM direction.
