CaYO(BO3)3晶体坩埚下降法生长
Bridgman Growth of CaYO(BO3)3 Crystal
【摘要】 本文首次报道了Ca4 YO(BO3) 3(YCOB)晶体的坩埚下降法生长。在 16 0 0~ 16 50℃炉温下 ,固液界面处的纵向温度梯度为 4 0~ 6 0℃ /cm ,以 0 .2~ 0 .6mm/h的生长速率 ,在近封闭的Pt坩埚中生长出了直径达 2 5mm、长度超过 50mm的完整透明YCOB晶体。介绍了生长工艺和原料制备 ,观察发现晶体中的主要宏观缺陷是包裹体。分析了包裹体生成的原因。
【Abstract】 The growth of Ca 4YO(BO 3) 3(YCOB) crystals by the vertical Bridgman method is reported in this paper for the first time.The crack free and transparent YCOB crystals about 25mm in diameter and 50mm long have been grown with melting temperature of 1600—1650℃,vertical temperature gradient of 40—60℃ near by solid liquid interface and growth rate of 0.2—0.6mm/h in near sealed Pt crucibles.The growth conditions of the crystal,the preparation of the feed material,the crystal structure and the main macroscopic defects in as grown crystals are discussed in details.The inclusions are main defects in YCOB crystals grown by Bridgman method.
