大口径等离子体电极普克尔盒电光开关研究
Study on large aperture plasma-electrode Pockels cell e lectro-optical switch
【摘要】 设计建造了通光口径为 2 4 0 mm× 2 4 0 mm等离子体电极普克尔盒 ,在 KDP的两侧用磁控阴极放电产生了覆盖全口径的等离子体电极。用仿真线成形 ,产生了电压幅值 1 0 k V,脉冲上升时间50 ns,脉宽 50 0 ns,顶部电压波动 <± 2 %的矩形开关脉冲。测得电光开关的光学特性为全口径静态透过率 85.8% ,静态消光比 1 32 ,开关效率 97.6% ,开关上升时间 95ns。
【Abstract】 A 240mm×240mm plasma electrode Pockels cell is constructed. Using a planer magnetron cathode a uniform plasma discharge covered the full aperture on either side of the KDP cr ystal is produced. A rectangular switch pulse with 50ns rise time,500ns pulse wi dth and ≤±2% surge in the top platform is shaped by a pulse forming network. M easurements of the optical performance show that the static transmittance of 85. 8%, extinction ratio of 132, switching efficiency of 97.6% and switching rise ti me of 95ns are obtained.
