【Abstract】 Owing to the financial crisis in Asia, there are two different viewpoints currently being held on the tendency of RMB rate policy. Some people believe that the RMB rate should be depreciated while others think that we should maintain the stability of RMB rate. China will become a member of WTO in the near future, so RMB rate will be subject to the great pressure. China′s membership of the WTO will set a new demand on the RMB rate policy.
