【Abstract】 It is a typical 3\|D spiral flow inside the sand funnel.The tangential velocity sustains the vortex intensity of flow in the sand funnel,the radial velocity is benefit to sediment moving to the centre and the axial velocity is benefit to the sediment sinking,so the sand funnel is successful in sediment disposal.Prototype observation of the sand funnel project of Hongshanzui hydropower station shows that the sand funnel passesses many advantages,such as high sand interception rate,and little water consumption,etc.It could be widely used in practice.更多还原
