【Abstract】 Botanical medicine constitutes the major part of traditional Chinese medicine. The research on its refinement is of great significance to the development of traditional Chinese pharmacology. This paper discusses the nature and feature of botanical medicine and its refinement, and analyzes the possibility of applying the modern technique of membrane isolation to refine botanical medicine.
